Paula Seixas
Professor and Vice-chair of CIFAP
Paula Seixas is a Professor of the Department of Forestry and Landscape Architecture. She is the coordinator of both the bachelor and master programmes in Landscape Architecture of UTAD.
Frederico Meireles Rodrigues
Professor
Professor Frederico Meireles Rodrigues is Doctor in Landscape Architecture by the University of Porto. He was originally trained as a landscape architect by UTAD and teaches landscape design since 2001. He is currently researching in the field of urban green park evaluation and critique at the CITAB Research Centre. Has also been involved in professional practice, cooperating with offices and in the University studio. He is a member of the Executive Committee of ECLAS since 2009.

Luís Loures
Guest Professor
Luís Loures is a Landscape Architect, guest professor at UTAD, and a Professor at Escola Superior Agraria De Elvas (ESAE) in the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre. He holds a Ph.D. in Urban Planning, and has published several peer reviewed papers at the national and international levels and he has been a guest researcher/Professor at several Universities including Michigan State University (USA), University of Toronto (Canada), Letterkenny Institute of Technology (Ireland), University of Algarve (Portugal), Ryerson University (Canada), among others. His research is mainly focused on urban redevelopment and environmental planning issues.
Luís Fernando Torres de Castro
Professor Emeritus
Professor Torres de Castro, with a primary degree in Agronomy, taught several subjects in the field of Food Product Technologies, namely the biochemical processes involved in food processing/transformation, at The Agronomic Institute of Angola in 1970. However, as he pursued his training in Landscape Architecture in Lisbon, in 1968, this urged him to continue creating in the field of landscape design. . He was the leading pioneer of the landscape architecture education at UTAD, which he has coordinated from 1998 to 2007.  He is now Emeritus Professor of UTAD.
Laura Roldão e Costa
Professor
Laura Roldão e Costa holds a PhD in Landscape Architecture, by the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto and was originally trained has a landscape architect by the Higher Institute of Agronomy. She teaches at UTAD in the field of landscape design since 2002. She owns a private office in Matosinhos, Laura Roldão e Costa Landscape Architecture Lda, where she develops her long term professional practice.
João Bicho
Guest Landscape Architect
João Bicho is a landscape architect graduated by UTAD, where he has been teaching since 2007 in the fields of design with vegetation and green space maintenance. He is also the main partner at his landscape architecture office JBJC - Landscape Architecture, which is one of the lead businesses in the field in the north of Portugal, counting several recognitions and publications in specialized design magazines.

Eunice Salavessa
Professor
Eunice Salavessa is an architect, by the Higher School of Fine Arts of Lisbon (ESBAL), and faculty member of CIFAP, who holds a PhD at UTAD and a master in Reabilitation of Architecture and Urban Centres at the Technical University of Lisbon. She is also researching in the field of Biosystems Engineering as a member of Centre for the Research and Technology of Agro-Environmental and Biological Sciences.
Domingos Lopes
Professor
Professor Domingos Lopes, has a primary degree in Forestry is a Landscape Architect, by UTAD. He is teaching at UTAD since 1994 and has some teaching experience in Brazil. He holds a Master in Rural Development, by UTAD and a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences at Kingston University. He has published several peer reviewed papers at the national and international levels and has worked with several Universities including Michigan State University, Oregon State University, North Carolina State University, and Kingston University. His main research topics have been related with climate change scenarios and carbon dynamics. Actually he is focused on Urban Green Infrastructure and Landscape Planning.

Ângela Silva
Guest Landscape Architect
Ângela Silva is a Landscape Architect by UTAD, with a post-graduation in Urban Planning and Design by the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto. She holds several other specializations and participations in research projects, but she has developed her professional practice mostly in the local and central administration, in the fields of landscape design urban planning. Her main interests are the history of landscape architecture and design and conservation in historical gardens and heritage sites. She has been teaching at UTAD since 2005.

Robert Manners Moura
Former Professor
Professor Robert Manners Moura is one of the pioneers of the landscape architecture education at UTAD. e has studied Agronomic Engineer at the Higher Institute of Agronomy, in Lisbon, where in 1974 has graduated in Landscape Architecture. He was Professor at UTAD, from 1993 to 2008, developing his teaching and research activities in the field of Landscape Management and Nature Conservation.
